Do you ever feel flabbergasted by the infinite world of essential oils? From aromatherapy healing to household cleaning it seems there’s nothing essential oils can’t do! These tiny but mighty tinctures certainly have a wide range of uses, but if you’re a novice user of essential oils it can be difficult to know where to start.
Enter earthYARD, a one-stop shop for essential oils, paraben-free skincare bases and carrier oils for those ready to dive into the fascinating world of aromatherapy and green living. They even have an encyclopaedia of tips and tricks to help you on your way to creating a green and clean household.
All of earthYARD’s products are single origin, meaning they come from a single farm or community and are of an impeccable quality. They’re also farmers themselves, producing some of the oils in their range including Eucalyptus, Tasmanian Peppercorn and Lemon Myrtle. Plus, for every order shipped they plant a tree on one of their farms to offset parcel miles.
Their generosity is what sets earthYARD apart. They have a collection of recipes for aromatherapy healing, skincare and even household cleaning available on their website, demonstrating how easy and affordable it is to eliminate toxins from the home. And, if you can’t find what you’re looking for, just ask! They really are an open book and pride themselves on their transparency.
Another defining feature of earthYARD is that they invite and encourage you to become your own alchemist. You can add your own blend of essential oils to their collection of bases, gels or carrier oils or grab a blend-it-yourself kit to target your specific ailments or concerns. earthYARD makes it possible to blend your way to your personal brand of bliss. Bring your own reusable containers and bottles to the event and you can create your own blend on site!
Think of earthYARD as your very own shed stocked full of all the essential oils you could ever need and natural plant-based ingredients for your home and body. All of our products are single origin, meaning they come from a single farm or community and are of the highest quality. We can promise you this because we know exactly where they came from and how they were made. In some cases we even do it ourselves! At earthYARD we encourage our friends to share recipes and tips, plus we’ve got a few of our own that can help you on your way to becoming a green and clean household. From natural cleaners to hair serums and remedies, we’ve got you covered.
We want to demonstrate how easy and affordable it can be to eliminate toxins from the home by switching to natural, at home products.
We’re also farmers! Some of the oils that we stock we actually produce ourselves including Eucalyptus, Tasmanian Peppercorn, Lemon Myrtle and Aniseed Myrtle. For every order shipped we also plant a tree on one of our farms to offset parcel miles. We really are an open book – just ask us questions and we’ll give you answers!
You can bring your own recycled bottles and containers and stock up on essential oils, nut oils and more! Plus, we are inviting customers to mix your own skin care on site. (Don’t worry, we’ll have reusable containers available to purchase on site if you forget yours).
I grew up around farms because my father had a deep connection with agriculture having spent his school holidays working on his uncle’s sheep farm. I remember exploring old homestead ruins as a child and that smell of wheat and dust so vividly. The farms I grew up on were in the throngs of drought for much of my childhood and stories of doing-it-tough were common around the dinner table.
Many years later, I was working with my father on his new legacy company, Native Oils Australia, which encourages farmers to diversify their incomes by helping them to establish cropping for essential oil production. We were coming into contact with so many fantastic oils being produced right here in Australia and also around the world, and these oils were becoming vital economic resources for small farming communities looking to thrive. Together, we launched earthYARD to introduce these oils to the world and show just how important these products were for farmers AND for people like you and me.Back Next
