For the Dreamers mission is to help educate women on their ability to drive change through the choices they make within the fashion industry. Providing sustainable alternatives in swimwear for women and girls, For the Dreamers makes eco-conscious efforts not only in the products use of raw materials but also by actively pursuing an ethical supply chain across the globe; partnering with a carbon neutral shipping company, providing eco-friendly packaging and creating mindful designs to promote longevity and versatility. In fact, the fabric used is made out of discarded fishing nets polluting our oceans pre and post-consumer waste which reduces landfill. All the efforts made by the brand is to promote an eco-conscious lifestyle, minimalism and self-love. For the Dreamers actively educates themselves to find out ways to create a more significant impact on the environment and ultimately the world each day.
What problem is your business solving?
Consumerism and the impact of the fashion industry on the environment. We help reduce the global warming impact of nylons by up to 80% through the usage of our fabric. We have designed environmentally friendly products that will withstand trends and can convert based on your style and shape in order to maximise your use.

We not only use eco-friendly materials to create our swimwear but design for sustainability and versatility so, you can maximise your purchase by converting the look and shape to suit your desired style and fit.
We love our planet, so all our packaging is either recycled or compostable.
We also partner with a carbon neutral shipping company to reduce our carbon footprint.

Can you tell us a little about your background and where the inspiration came from for your business?
Rather than travel around the world volunteering for short amounts of time, I wanted to see how I could make a more significant impact.
Also, I could see first hand how something as unforgiving and exposing as swimwear can hinder women from experiencing the ocean. I wanted to create something that would fit women and not something women had to try to fit into.
The combination of my love for the ocean, promoting self love and women empowerment as well as wanting to reduce the impact of the fashion industry on the environment. Being more eco-conscious and helping to educate others on environmentally alternatives was born! We dont know what we dont know. But when we do know, that’s when we can make a choice to do better.
