Inspiring ethical business stories, conversations about low-tox living and photography to transport you

A weekly round-up of what’s keeping us informed and entertained – recommended with love by the TCS team. This week we’re…

One Wild Ride

Pru Chapman’s podcast (which shines a light on the people harnessing business as a force for good) has been our audio bible for a while, so we’re very excited to see One Wild Ride in print for the second time. The beautifully presented pages of Volume Two of One Wild Ride Magazine feature conversations with inspiring people, and lay out in print the signature OWR exploration of a more meaningful life. The force behind it all – the very powerful Pru Chapman – will be joining us at The Cutaway in March, to record a live podcast and talk all-things-impact in our ethical business panel discussion.

Listening to

Low Tox Life Podcast

Conversations about how we can (and why we should) reduce the amount of harmful toxins we come into contact with through our day-to-day existence. The Low Tox Life host (and a font of knowledge about all things health) Alexx Stuart will be joining our panel discussion on low-tox living at The Conscious Space in March – tickets are limited, so register for your free ticket here.

For dreamy ocean shots and perfectly framed pictures of beautiful people and places. The sibling team behind SVPhotography (and their studio and print store @svplace) will be joining us at TCS in March, so you can browse limited edition prints and escape to far flung places through their travel-based collections from the comfort of The Cutaway (more about that here).

The Rushing Hour

Beyond natural fibres, The Rushing Hour have taken sustainable fashion to a whole other extreme. The Sydney based brand makes 30% of pieces from rescued designer cast off fabrics, 25% from recycled/repurposed materials and 45% from organic and ethically grown fibres. They also sponsor a girl’s education with every item sold through their partnership with One Girl – a look for you and a lesson for someone in need. The team behind The Rushing Hour will be joining us at The Cutaway in March, and you can read more about their ethos and approach here.
