Beauty Food

Please give us your elevator pitch:

Australian made and owned lifestyle brand Beauty Food was born in Bondi, NSW. Founded by busy Mum, Author and trainer Libby Babet and Exercise Physiologist and Nutritionist Veronika Larisova, Beauty Food was born from the gap in the market for convenient snacks that weren’t full of sugar or artificial chemicals and gut health destroying ingredients like erythritol. Beauty Food makes naughty tasting but guilt free Collagen packed snacks with busy women in mind, because who needs more hangriness and guilt in their lives, right!?

Can you tell us a little about your background and where the inspiration came from for your business?

Libby Babet’s knowledge and passion led to her starring role as the new trainer on Channel 10’s re-imagination and relaunch of “The Biggest Loser: Transformed”. As a former journalist she writes for publications such as Prevention Magazine and has also been the fitness expert for Women’s Fitness Magazine and the HIT Network, Australia’s largest radio network. Outside of her work in media, Libby is the founder of multiple businesses in health and fitness including her Bondi training studio The Upbeat .

Libby Babet started Beauty Food with friend and nutritionist Veronika Larisova, because she’s incredibly passionate about health, nutrition and body confidence. Libby’s life-long mission is to inspire others to move more, eat better and live life to the full.

When her daughter was born, Libby Babet was so focused on her that her own nutrition was starting to suffer because she didn’t always have the headspace to make breakfast or lunch. That meant she was snacking a lot more than usual and found it next to impossible to find convenient snacks that weren’t full of sugar or artificial chemicals and ingredients like erythritol.

Libby and Veronika decided to do something about it!
