We offer both mens and womens clothing and products for the responsible shopper, we donate 1% of our total annual revenue to grassroots environmental groups every year and we offer free repairs for life on most of our products in store.
Can you tell us a little about your background and where the inspiration came from for your business?
Owners Nikki and Tom were frustrated in their search for products for themselves which fit their ethos of always shopping as sustainably as possible. It was impossible to find a store that catered for both women and men but also to find one that stocked clothing but also other products used in everyday life. We also wanted to break the stigma that shopping with the planet in mind meant wearing 100% hemp hippy pants, or spending $200 on a t shirt. BLAEK Store was born out of frustration, filling a gap in the market and wanting to lead the way and make change in an industry stuck in the past.

The coat’s shell is made of 2.2-oz 100% polyester (70% recycled) taffeta with mechanical stretch and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish and insulated with 700-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products).
