Kimberley Chan Meditation

Please give us your elevator pitch:

I teach you how to meditate and feel good/happy again.

What problem is your business solving?

Helping people to finding their way to happiness and their true selves.

Tell us three unique things about your business:

1. Me – a former corporate lawyer, meditation teacher who understands what it’s like to cultivate and maintain a regular meditation practice while living a full life.

2. Learning meditation in person with a teacher who instructs you in a meditation technique.

3. A lifetime of follow up and support on your meditation journey.

Can you tell us a little about your background and where the inspiration came from for your business?

I never intended to become a meditation teacher. I learned meditation, started to practise it regularly, about 6 months in, family, friends and colleagues started noticing differences in how I was interacting with them and life generally. They asked me what I was doing differently and it was meditation. People started asking me to teach them and I would refer them to my teacher. And then one day, my teacher said to me, “…why don’t you train to be a teacher, there’s nothing that says you can’t be a lawyer and a meditation teacher… So I undertook a year training with my teacher, graduated in India and started teaching. Honestly I figured I would teach a couple of friends here and there but it hasn’t stopped, and as long as people ask me to teach them, I will continue to do so.
