Untouched World is a sustainable lifestyle brand built on a philosophy of business for good. We believe in quality over quantity and doing right by people and the planet. Born out of a desire to make a positive impact, we created what we couldn’t find. A sustainable wardrobe to navigate a busy lifestyle and let you do more with less. Our clothes are designed to travel, work, and play without compromising on comfort or style, thoughtfully designed with simple silhouettes that remain relevant season after season. Using luxurious natural fibres and earth inspired hues, we create conscious collections that connect you with nature and elevate your everyday with effortless style.

 

What problem is your business solving?

We create sustainable lifestyle clothing that will hustle so you don’t have to. Our multi-tasking pieces mean you can do more with less, helping to reduce consumption and making it easier to navigate today’s busy lifestyle. We thoughtfully design and consciously create each piece we make to respect people and the planet. From sourcing natural and organic fabrics and fibres, to our sustainable production practices, right through to ensuring our garments can naturally return to the earth at the end of their long life. Our clothes look out for you and the planet.

1. We are the first fashion brand in the world to be recognised by the United Nations for Sustainability.

2. 96% of our collection is made in New Zealand.

3. Our mission is to make a positive impact on the planet, so we not only design beautiful clothes that will nurture people and the planet, but we are investing profits from the business into protecting the earth for generations to come by running UN recognised ‘Leadership for a Sustainable Future’ programmes for our young people.

 

Can you tell us a little about your background and where the inspiration came from for your business?

Peri Drysdale our Founder and CEO travelled a lot for business back in the nineties. She became increasingly alarmed at the state of degradation happening to the planet. All she heard being talked about globally was business growth and profit. No one seemed to care about what impact that all this growth would have on the earth. Peri created Untouched World out of a desire to use fashion as a vehicle for change. To show the world how less is more and that you don’t have to give up luxury and great design to be good to the planet.
