We are a husband and wife team of a Builder and Interior Designer, who work together to create homes for real living. Our focus is on building in a sustainable way to positively impact our communities and the planet. We guide our clients from initial ideas and concepts all the way through to build and handover. Our clients are cherished and taken care of throughout, with one team for the whole process of design and construction, which makes for a cohesive and seamless process where all parties are on the same page.
We’re about supporting clients to create homes which make them FEEL good using our start to finish support, skills and expertise. We recognised that while clients may start with a holistic vision, it can sometimes become difficult to coordinate the architect, builder and interior designer all onto the same page. We knew having worked on our own projects together that when the team is under one banner and working together from start to the finish, the process is super collaborative and a much more cohesive home is created.
As far as we’re aware, we are the only full service end to end building and design companies focusing on sustainable design and building.
With sustainability being top of mind, we carefully take into consideration the materials we use throughout the design and build stages and their effect on our environment and the communities around us.
With Tim having project managed multi million dollar commercial builds previously, he brings that same level of detailed approach to running our residential projects – documentation, communication, trade management.As part of our commitment to offseting our carbon footprint, we donate to our environmental partner, Greenfleet who plants trees to keep the regeneration of our forest going.We are currently embarking on the process to become a B-Corp – one of the first residential builders in Australia to do so!
Yarrow Build was born from a love and passion for designing and renovating homes. On a journey to follow our dream, we decided to join forces, combining our unique passions and skill sets in building (Tim) and interior design (Sarah) to help others create their dream homes using our start to finish support, skills and expertise. With a background of ten years experience in commercial project management throughout Australia, Tim learnt the craft of running complex multi million dollar builds. With unrivalled craftsmanship and standard, Tim makes sure the creative ideas come to life. Meanwhile, Sarah – an already well-established interior designer, with many of her projects gracing pages of magazines – has lived overseas and travelled the world for many years, with that global experience informing her approach, allowing her to reimagine functional living for happier, healthier homes.
